Is Matt Kemp a MVP Candidate? You Bet!

The Dodgers play have been inconsistent through out the Season but one player is starting to make a very strong case as a NL MVP candidate. That player is Matt Kemp.  Before the season started everyone was saying that Kemp would have a better year than last season when he didn’t have the best of numbers to help out the Dodgers sub-par year. Through out the ups and downs Kemp managed to stay consistent and at times put the team on his back  to carry them. This has led us to ask is Matt Kemp MVP Worthy…YES!! At this point right now he’s the best player in Baseball (Yes that arguable) If you look at the stats it backs that up. Kemp right now is on Pace for 30/30. So far he has 16 HR and 14 Stolen bases. He also leads the NL in Total Bases and RBI.

Kemp

Matt Kemp has put up the Stats to make a very strong case for NL MVP so far.

Want to get defensive Matt Kemp has a Fielding Percentage of .972 and yes that’s pretty good. He’s been doing MVP work in games but theirs plenty of games that need to be played.  If you look at Kemp right now he’s on a Hot Streak but can he keep this up? Kemp will have to do his best to stay consistent if he want that award. So far he’s been a huge bright spot for the Dodgers. No doubt he’s an All-Star but MVP will take Kemp to continue this good play and continue putting numbers up like he has right now.

Overall I believe by All-Star Break Matt Kemp will be NL MVP of the halfway mark but he will have to keep this up. Do I see that happening yes I can. Matt Kemp can do it but weird things happen in the MLB.  We’ll see how it goes by season’s end but so Far so good. All I have to say is this. #KEMP4MVP!!

This is a very simple game...

You throw the ball. You catch the ball. You hit the ball...Of course, baseball fans know that this line from Bull Durham is far from true, part of the humor of the movie and a huge part of the fun of the game. This blog is a space to talk about baseball, being a baseball fan, all of those things that make the game fun and the Angels, because they make baseball fun for me.
