McCourt Supporters: Do they know whats really going on in Dodgertown?

The McCourt Drama been draging on for almost a year and seems like theres no end. I’ve been upset about the situation but after reading a Yahoo article about McCourt and Some of the things some Latino Leaders said. The Article as passed along by twitter and I couldn’t help but to read it and while they supported McCourt which isn’t an issue their comments was totally out of wack. Some of the comments were “Selig get your foot off McCourts Throat”, “We act like a Small Town Team” and that “The Expensive players don’t do anything anyways” Thats where I lost it. Now While I have no issue with people supporting McCourt these comments are far from the truth and it seems as of now McCourt is feeding people with BS.

I think the Leaders in this article haven’t been paying attention to the whole issue. McCourt hurting the team causing a Legendary Franchise get to the point where they can’t make Payroll, Limiting the team ability to get the players to compete for WS, Parking and ticket prices being horible, etc etc has been enough to  make everyones arguement. While I was watching the Phillies/Dodgers game on ESPN 2 the Broadcasters were asking for McCourt to Sale the team because he’ve been hurting this Franchinse that we love and care for. Thats enough for you right there. This leads me to ask this question for the Latino Leaders who make this statement. What are you guys looking at?

While theres no issue supporting McCourt theres NO proof out there to make the arguement to keep him as Owner. This man shouldnt’ve been owner in the first place. I question what they are seeing right now. You can’t ride on Manny all the time. Plus he was aquired Via trade so where does that help? McCourt time as owner has ran out and I think the Latino Leaders need to open their eyes and see that. Dodger fans are very well knowlegeable about the team I think the Leaders are buying into the Hot Air that he’s feeding people. Here’s a bit of advice from a Die Hard Dodger fan. Look at all the issues and put it into a fans view. This issue have alot of affect on us. Its not that we think Small Market because we don’t. We know that McCourt has driven this team into the ground and it has hurt us fans. Heres a message to all those who believe McCourt should stay owner. Put yourself in a Dodgers Fans shoes and look at how bad it is for us. Will you Support McCourt then?

This is a very simple game...

You throw the ball. You catch the ball. You hit the ball...Of course, baseball fans know that this line from Bull Durham is far from true, part of the humor of the movie and a huge part of the fun of the game. This blog is a space to talk about baseball, being a baseball fan, all of those things that make the game fun and the Angels, because they make baseball fun for me.
