This Day In History: 4 Straight Home Runs

The video you see at the top is one of the most recent Dodger Stadium Moments and a moment that will forever be in Los Angeles Dodgers history. Today Marks 6 years since the Dodgers made that historic comeback hitting four straight home runs before a 10th Inning Walk-off by Nomar Garciaparra to win the game 11-10. I’m sure like all moments people remember where they were or what they were doing when that game was going on. Most people at the Stadium left but the faithful who stayed witnessed something very very special. Trailing 9-5 Dodgers Russell Martin, JD Drew, Jeff Kent, and Marlon Anderson Hit home runs to bring the Dodgers back. In the bottom of the 10th The Padres had a lead over the Dodgers but Nomar Garciparra bombed a walk off Home Run to take the win. For me I was either at this game nor Able to watch this game seeing I was in Northern California (Giants area SMH) but I did see this on Sports Center and couldn’t believe what I was seeing. This is the Ultimate Never give up because you’ll never know what’ll happen. Main reason why I never leave games early because of stuff like this.

This is a game I will never ever forget and even thought I didn’t see it it still amazing to see that happen especially with the Boys in Blue.

This is a very simple game...

You throw the ball. You catch the ball. You hit the ball...Of course, baseball fans know that this line from Bull Durham is far from true, part of the humor of the movie and a huge part of the fun of the game. This blog is a space to talk about baseball, being a baseball fan, all of those things that make the game fun and the Angels, because they make baseball fun for me.
